• Question: Do you think it is good to travel between countries to study?

      Hi,

      I had the experience of doing my BSc in my home country and then moved to the UK. It was a big change and I’ve learned different work dynamics. It definitely changes your perspective (personally and professionally) and I’ve tried to adapt my working experience based on the different labs I’ve worked in and on the different mentors I’ve had.

      I would encourage taking the opportunity to work/study in different places if possible (even within the same country).

    I’ve worked and studied in 3 countries. Canada, UK & USA. I think it helps to travel, you see different sides to the sample problems and have varied ways of looking at things. You don;t have to travel far, – it also helps to work in different departments – physics has their way of looking at things, the medics think a different way and the engineers another.
