My favourite colour is red. However, there is a particular colour that we use under the microscope called ZsGreen, which can look particularly beautiful – it makes a sample light up when you shine a particular coloured laser on it.

There are lots of different things that you can do with microscopes to get more information from an image, and that sometimes means staining the sample with lots of different colours to make very beautiful images. My friend who works in the same lab as me made a sample that looks like a Christmas tree under the microscope!

Red: it fits me well, above all when I am tanned 🙂

Blue and red. Pink and purple while at work; these are very important colours https://librepathology.org/wiki/Hematoxylin_and_eosin_stain
