I drive to work at the moment, but I hope to move closer to work when we move to a new building and location in Manchester next year. I’d prefer to walk and get public transport.

I usually cycle to work – and the bus if it’s raining! I’m lucky to live near a cycle path so it’s definitely quickest to cycle most of the time.

Walking or the train. I now live next door to the train station so it feels silly driving anywhere.

My lab is close to my house, so that is why walking is my usual mode of transport.

I mainly use the bus (to go ot work) and the bike (always to go to work, but only over spring/summer when it doesn’t pour down). And then plane for international travels.

I walk to work most days or take the bus if I’m being lazy or the weather is really bad

I cycle to work. I takes about 25 min on a good day a bit longer when it’s raining.

I usually try to live about 25 to 35 min cycle from work, and arrange things so I travel thru town – if you work on the same side of the city as you live you might not get to see the central core.

      London’s different.
